Carlos Rivera is the most dead this week. Even before he actually died, he was a dead man walking. Sonny Corinthos even told him as much! Paul Hornsby desperately needed him to stay quiet, and so did Julian Jerome. I’m surprised he survived as long as he did!
Julian Jerome is the most ruthless this week. He will stop at nothing to make sure he gets away with Duke’s murder. He ordered one man dead and then stabbed Carlos Rivera with the very dagger that was used to kill Alexis’ mother! Did he act in vain or will he get away with murder once again?
Alexis Davis is the most compromised this week. She has taken on the task of defending Carlos and everyone (including her daughters) is calling her a hypocrite. I disagree though. Her actions aren’t so much hypocritical as they are naïve. In her mind, she is doing what she can to secure a future for her and Julian. and she doesn’t want the actions of his past to affect their future together. Especially since he is a changed man. She is naïve for ignoring her gut feeling since the eyewitness to Duke’s murder turned up dead. And now that Carlos is dead too, she can’t keep lying to herself. That’s is why she knew right away that it was the dagger that Helena used on her mother that killed Carlos. What she does next will clarify whether or not she is a hypocrite. Will she compromise herself further in the name of love?
Dr. Munro is the most interesting this week. During his conversation with Anna, it becomes obvious that there were some strange circumstances behind him being shot. Later on we get the notion that there is a history between him and Nathan that only he is aware of it, and this is not the first time this has been touched upon. But the most interesting fact about Griffin is that not only is he a doctor, he is also a priest! Sorry people, he is officially unavailable.
Anna Devane is the most emotional this week. She’s been up, down, and knocked to the ground! The excitement over capturing Carlos had Anna on an emotional high, which ended quickly when she learned he escaped. She then became very angry at the incompetence of the PCPD for allowing him to escape. Frantic to find him, she left and went to Pier 54 on a hunch. She found him there! Anna thought she had won at that point, but he tricked her into thinking the blood on him was his from an injury—but it was actually Dante’s blood! And he was able to overpower her and knock her unconscious. She woke up on the floor of a meat locker. Andre found her on his own hunch and brought her to GH. There she learned Carlos was there and dying. She did everything she could to get him to confess to killing Duke per Julian’s orders before he died. It was too late. Father Griffin took too long with the last rites. Anna was devastated. It looks like the justice she worked so hard to get for Duke just died with Carlos. Or did it?
Sonny Corinthos was the most observant this week. He sat back and watched the whole Carlos escape unfold and every step of the way he knew what was going on. He is a smart man. He was spot on with all of his accusations this week. Especially when he pinned Paul for being the source behind Carlos’ escape! He was thinking more like a detective this week than a mobster. Not much gets by that man!
Paul Hornsby is the most conniving this week. He’s back at it again guys. He’s playing the concerned DA when really he was the cause behind the whole disaster Carlos caused while in the police van! Jordan and Sonny are onto him, though, and he knows it. Will he do something drastic to make sure no one can prove he gave Carlos the pen to use during his escape?
Nina and Franco are still broken up. He is so heartbroken that he even sought out advice from his crazy mother: Heather Webber. He and Nina almost had a moment at Crimson where he was reaching her, but Julian came in and interrupted Franco’s plan to seduce her back into bed. She says it is over, but I don’t think so. Her eyes tell a different story. She is head over heals for him! Why is it so hard for them to just be in love? I feel bad for Franco. He’s trying, yet everything he does comes out all wrong. Poor guy.
Rachel and Nickolas are in a standoff. They are each holding info on the other that could incriminate them and send them to prison, as now Nikolas has a hold of some diamonds belonging to her father that no one can know about. So now they aren’t getting a divorce. In fact they are living together and both plan to torture the other into backing off. This should make for some interesting times at Wyndermere guys! Nick has already started donating all of her things to charity, and Rachel plans to sell off random heirlooms she finds around the house on the web. Let the games begin!
Dante and Lulu are back on solid ground. He may have some healing to do from Carlos stabbing him, but as far as they are concerned, the healing is already in progress!
Maxie and Nathan are getting married. Or are they? Maxie can’t seem to let the Claudette situation go. What’s will happen when Maxie gets to the truth? Will she even keep digging now that he almost died again? At the moment she seems to have forgotten, however we all know Maxie, and she never lets anything rest. So is she planning a wedding that won’t happen? Only time will tell.
Sam and Jason are rock solid. They managed to form a new relationship in spite of his memory loss. But when the van crashed into his motorcycle, Jason regained his memories! He was able to use his knowledge to free Dante before the van exploded. As soon as help came, he made his way to Sam, where he told her he remembers everything. She was still shocked when he scooped her up into a kiss. What will happen now that he remembers everything? Will he work for Sonny? Will he go after Franco, full force? We know his memories are great for him and Sam, but for everyone else in his path, they may not be so great—especially for Franco.
What do you think GH fans? Did Julian act in vain, or did he get away with murder? Will Alexis compromise herself further in the name of love? Did justice for Duke die with Carlos? Will Paul do something drastic to make sure no one can prove he gave Carlos the pen to use during his escape? Why is it so hard for Nina and Franco to just be in love? What will happen when Maxie gets to the truth about Claudette? What will happen to Jason now that he remembers everything? Let me now in the comments below!
